Call for Chapters: The Routledge Handbook of Just Transitions

Linda Westman and her colleagues are excited to announce a new book project: The Routledge Handbook of Just Transitions. 

The volume will capture the complexity and richness of just transition research through a comprehensive interdisciplinary exploration. Scholars are invited from all disciplines to contribute a chapter to this volume. They are welcoming submissions to the following five themes: Part I - Theories; Part II - Practices; Part III - Critiques; Part IV- Methods; Part V - Geographies.

Please submit an abstract (100–200-word) by April 30, 2026, to just_tran@hkbu.edu.hk. Once confirmed, the final manuscript— max 7,000 words —will be due on December 31, 2026. Please direct any inquiries to Kevin Lo (just_tran@hkbu.edu.hk).
